Common Paper Diseases in The Internet Department
Common paper diseases in the internet department
(1) Slipping of pulp at the edge of the net is one of the main causes of paper diseases. When it is mild, it can lead to paper adhesion or edge cracking at the edges of the paper; When heavy, it can cause paper breakage. The occurrence of slurry splashing in the mesh section is due to the unclean edges of the core layer (mesh width: top mesh>core mesh>surface mesh>bottom mesh). The unclean edges of the core layer may be due to poor adjustment of the flushing water, fluctuations in the liquid level of the external white water tank, or movement of the forming mesh; At the exit corners of the top and core nets, sometimes there is also slurry splashing, because the slurry at the edges of the net gathers too much, so special attention should be paid when making high weight paper.
(2) Water needle: It is a key component of the paper machine and requires special care during maintenance. Firstly, the pressure of the water needle should be appropriate. If it is too high, it will splash the slurry, and if it is too low, it may cut continuously. During the process of using this type of paper, attention should be paid to changes in the pressure of the water needle. When pulling the water needle to adjust the width, it should be done slowly and steadily
(3) High pressure water in the mesh: Clean it in a timely manner. If the high-pressure water clogs, there is a risk that the formed mesh will be blocked by small fibers and resin, which will cause poor dehydration of the mesh and lead to transparent paper disease (white stripes).
(4) Spray starch tube: Paper diseases that are prone to occur include starch dots and small bright spots (due to excessive pressure of spray starch). Sometimes, when the pressure of spray starch is too low, the starch does not form a mist, but instead forms droplets, which can also cause continuous starch dripping on the paper surface.
(5) adjustment of net vacuum: Pay attention to the adjustment of the vacuum in the wet suction box and ensure the reflux of the white water in the net pool; the vacuum degree of the paper transfer vacuum box must be ensured, otherwise there may be poor peeling of the paper sheets and the appearance of pulp strips.
There are many factors that can cause paper disease in the mesh section, such as pulp and mortar accumulation on the rack, especially on the suction tank panel, which can also cause paper disease after entering the mesh section.
