Paper Making Blanket

Paper making blankets  require good dehydration, smoothness, stain resistance, wear resistance, dimensional stability, drug resistance, antibacterial properties, heat resistance, and hydrolysis resistance.

According to the position on the paper machine, it can be divided into wet blanket, upper blanket , and dryer blanket. The wet blanket is transported with water on a paper machine, and its function is to press the paper blank to dehydrate and smooth the paper surface. Wet blankets have good water filtration and elasticity, high strength, low shrinkage, wear resistance, resistance to bacteria and acid alkali corrosion. The use area of the upper blanket is above the wet blanket, with a small part in contact with the drying cylinder, which serves as a collar, top leveling, and drying function. It has the properties of flatness, hardness, good elasticity, wear resistance, and high temperature resistance. The dryer blanket covers the drying cylinder, which operates in a humid and dry state to iron and dry the paper. It has solid, elastic, wear-resistant, and high-temperature resistance properties. Dryer blankets can also be replaced by canvas or breathable fabrics woven with polyester filament.

Paper making blankets are used for paper forming, wet paper pressing, dehydration, and transportation.
