Solution to Leakage of Drying Cylinder End Cover in Paper Machine

During the long-term operation of the paper machine, due to design, manufacturing, use, and natural aging of the sealing components, steam and water leakage often occur at the sealing part of the dryer end cover, affecting the output and paper quality of the paper machine, and even causing shutdown.

Operation steps:

1. Preparation: After the dryer has cooled to room temperature, fix it, open the manhole, and blow compressed air into the dryer.

2. Surface treatment: Use a polishing machine or other tools to polish the entire sealing surface until the metal surface is exposed.

3. Material blending: Strictly blend polymer composite materials in proportion.

4. Application material: Apply the material in sections, wipe the sealing surface with anhydrous ethanol, and then apply the material.

5. Material solidification.
