By using physical methods to mechanically treat suspended pulp in water, fibers are subjected to shear forces, changing their morphology and enabling the pulp to acquire certain properties (such as mechanical strength, physical properties, and some adhesive properties) to ensure that the resulting paper and cardboard meet the expected quality requirements.
By controlling the water filtration of the paper material through pulping, the uniformity and strength of the paper sheet can be improved.
Pulping is a physical change, and the beating process refers to the changes in the fiber structure and colloidal properties produced, which are all physical changes and do not cause chemical changes in the fibers or the production of new substances.
