The rotary joint of converter is the key component of steelmaking converter, which is related to the accuracy and service life of the key functions of converter. The converter series rotary joint is installed at the trunnion of the converter in iron and steel production enterprises. It is used to connect the converter with each channel pipeline and transmit the cooling, bottom blowing, top blowing and other media required by the steel-making converter. It is an important component to ensure the continuous safe production of the converter by ensuring the uninterrupted water supply and ventilation in the production process of the converter, realizing the cooling of the trunnion, support ring, furnace cap and other parts of the converter, and at the same time, argon (nitrogen) gas bottom blowing and bosh air cooling of the converter.

1.Different cooling medium, gas medium and pressure medium required for efficient transmission of various parts of steel-making converter, and independent channel design.
2.The converter rotary joint can be divided into side drive end and traveling end according to the trunnion. The main reason is that the circulating medium is different and the structure is the same.
3.The converter rotary joint passage with circulating cooling water mainly cools the furnace cap, furnace mouth, drag ring and trunnion.
4.The revolving joint passage of the converter with circulating gas mainly circulates argon and nitrogen to cool the bottom and bosh of the converter during steelmaking.
5.The converter rotary joint passage of circulating hydraulic oil is mainly connected with the converter sliding plate by circulating hydraulic medium to ensure the accuracy of slag retaining and stable operation of the sliding plate.
